Train your candlestick eye
CandleQuiz is a practice app for reading candlesticks in trading charts. Each round puts a single candle in front of you and asks one question: is it bullish or bearish, and how strongly? You answer, you find out straight away whether you were right, and the app records how long you took to decide.
Reading candles quickly is pattern recognition, and pattern recognition comes from repetition rather than from memorising definitions. Rounds are short enough to fit into a spare minute, which is what makes the repetition happen at all.
A reference section covers the common single-candle patterns, from strong bullish and bearish bodies through to the weak, indecisive ones, so you can look up whatever caught you out. Your accuracy, your average answer time and your fastest answer are all tracked across rounds, so the improvement is visible.
The app runs entirely on your device. There is no account and no sign-up, it works offline, and nothing you do in it is collected or uploaded.
